The presentation day.......the torture day

This project seemed as an endless one.....i've started working on it the first day, i've arrived here to ARNHEMLAND, among Sandra (a Dutch friend) and 2 guyz from Ghana (Joe and Alex), and although, i love Ghana and the my Ghanian friends who i've met when i was there, and had a nice start with the guyz by telling them the couple of Akan words that i know, but this didn't lasted for long time!!

I've known that those guyz would never push the performance anywhere forward after couple of meetings, but i've decided with Sandra to work our asses off for developing a perfect project....frankly speaking, we've passed by a lot of sleepless nights, terrible discussions that lasted for hours demonstrating for them some parts that they should be knowing by themselves, and even the same things that we demonstrate over and over again. It was so frustrating and de-motivating sometimes, that i was feeling terrible about it for few weeks, but yesterday was the presentation day, and i was so excited about it, specially, after we've given each of them a small part to study by hard and to present it, after spending sometime with them teaching them how to conduct a good one, and after going through the normal instructions.

The presentation in general was perfect, nevertheless, the guyz have made some silly mistakes like reading a part from a paper as it's, or talking randomly without taking care about what's written on the powerpoint's slide behind their backs, but at the end, as i've started a nice introduction and Sandra has ended up the presentation, we've got nice comments from the lecturers, that they were supposed to let us through an hour questions panel, and they've told us that we don't need this panel, as we've already presented everything in the project!! when i've heard this, i was up high in the sky, that i've forgotten about all the mistakes that had been done by the guyz and was thinking about just one thing......the egyptian quote that says "e3mel ely 3alik wel ba2y 3ala raben" do what you're supposed to and leave the rest to God's will.
